My son and granddaughter created their first sourdough starter and I became interested too, so they shared some of their starter with me and taught me a basic recipe.
He's mostly active and bubbly.
Taste & flavour
- 50% White wheat flour
- 50% Water
Take 25gms of starter, discard the rest. Add 25gms water Add 25gms white wheat flour Mix until combined and all flour is wet Place into cleaned jar, and leave on bench to double in size. Repeat feeding if baking, or store in fridge until next feed.
