I always had wanted to make beautiful looking loaf that I see when I travel to overseas or on any media. I had made breads before but with commercial yeast. Somehow it cannot taste like the sourdough I had when I travel. And knowing more of the nutrition fact of sourdough, I decided to venture into making them so that my family can benefit from healthy bakes.
Lavern is my 1st self raised starter. She is 1 1/2 years old. She is a very steady gal. Sureley was adopted from a friend in Singapore. She is always very assuring and never failed to impress me. Zippy was raised from raisin yeast water and she is 1 year old now. She is always cheerful and active. Apple is my latest starter raised from Granny Smith apple yeast water. She is the most active!
