The pandemic! Our cousin started baking and on our weekly video calls he shared his loaves, and shared the YouTube channel he was learning from. We did the same and the rest is history!

100% hydration starter Fed with 50% Central Milling Artisan Bakers Craft Plus AP flour and 50% King Arthur White whole wheat. Fed about once every 12 hours on a 1:5:5 ratio in the winter and a 1:10:10 ratio in the summer. Mixed by hand in a new container each time it’s refreshed.
